The former college chapel remains in use as the local parish church, St Mary's. In the early years of the present century it
was extensively revovated at a total cost of around £800,000, the bulk of which was funded by grants from the Lottery and
Historic Scotland. Chapel Trust funds also contributed (around £25,000) leaving a shortfall of £65,000 to be met by local
fundraising. Have a look at some photos taken at the time of the refurbishment.
The small cemetery next to the chapel was in a poor state of repair, so the Friends of Blairs raised funds to have it
refurbished with the work's being completed in 2006. View a short video of the cemetery as it now looks.
